Former Libyan ambassador to UAE Aref Al-Nayed runs for Libya President

The former Libyan ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Aref Al-Nayed has officially announced that he is running for the 2018 presidential elections in Libya.
Al-Nayed told Egyptian newspaper Youm 7 that he has been working on a significant platform in cooperation with a young teamwork so that they make sure Libya survives and overcomes its ongoing crisis.
Al-Nayed served as the Libyan ambassador to the UAE from June 2011 to October 2016.
He studied engineering in Canada. He got a Ph.D. degree from Canada.
