Eastern government’s PM in Egypt to enlist military support
The Prime Minister of the so-called Transitional Government of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives, Abdullah Al-Thinni, has arrived in Egypt’s capital, Cairo, in a bid to ask for more military support for the forces of Khalifa Haftar.
According to eastern sources, Al-Thinni rushed to Egypt on Monday in an attempt to go and convince the Egyptian officials to help them through the new fight at the oil crescent region, which they lost for the forces of the Benghazi Defence Brigades.
The visit comes before the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers at the Arab League prior to the Arab Summit that will take place in Amman, Jordan by the end of March.
