Greece is working to establish a direct maritime link between Athens and Benghazi, the Greek Consul General in Libya, Agapios Kalognomis, has announced.

Speaking at a ceremony at the Greek Consulate in Benghazi on 17 November, Kalognomis said the new shipping route would facilitate passenger travel and enhance trade relations between the two countries.
