The activists of the 24 December Movement issued a statement on the country’s situation, pleading for consideration of the Electoral Commission’s budget in order for it to operate.
Additionally, the statement urged the government to improve basic services for the populace, to hold elections, and to avoid wasting time on programs that are not permitted during the current phase.
In a previous statement, the movement urged the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity to expedite the realization of the election demand, to work and prepare with the sincere intention of all those currently at the forefront of the political landscape to hold the elections on time, emphasizing that no additional time should be allowed to pass.
