Coastal road between Tripoli and Al-Zawiya reopened
The sand barriers that were blocking the coastal road in Sayyad area in Janzour district “Bridge 17”, western Tripoli, were removed and the road was reopen from Tripoli to Ras Ajdair.
The Ministries of Defence, Interior, and mayors from Tripoli Municipality and Libyan western cities were present at the reopening along with many elders and notables.

According to sources from Janzour municipality, the reopening came after a meeting had taken place at Januzour Academy for Higher Studies between the groups blocking the road and the mediators.
“The coastal road has now been reopened and all people can use it as we made sure there will be no barriers or fake checkpoints to hinder the movement of cars and people.” The sources added.
