Clashes between Misurata and Tripoli brigades break out in Tripoli
Wednesday night saw fierce clashes between an armed brigade from Misurata Military Council and a force from the Tripoli Special Deterrence Force and the Joint Force of Intervention in Al-Hadba district.
Reliable sources said that after a heavily armed convoy of military vehicles and fighters arrived in Tripoli from Misurata,clashes took place and a force from the Misurata military council seized Second Force headquarters of Ghaniwa Al-Kikly, whose forces pulled out in the fight from Al-Hadba.
The sources added that the Misurata force was using the badge of National Guard, which is a new body they came to form in Tripoli to back up the Salvation Government of Khalifa Al-Ghweil.
