Central region Coast Guard seizes a Japanese ship
A Japanese ship was seized Saturday by the Coast Guard of the central region as it was emptying a shipment of Chevrolet cars in the port upon discovering that it was hiding two soldiers military vehicles, a security source revealed.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Press Solidarity the ship came from Japan and had aboard more than 260 Chevy cars heading toward Malta as the next destination before the Coast Guard found military vehicles and landmines detection devices among the cars.
This information could be altered any time as investigation and verification are being done to know more about the ship and its shipment.
