Car bombing targets UN mission in Libya’s convoy in Benghazi
A car bomb exploded in Hawari in Benghazi on Saturday afternoon targeting a convoy for the UN mission in Libya.
Medical sources told local media that four UNSMIL staffers had been injured in the car bombing in Hawari.
The sources also said that 8 injured people and two killed ones arrived in Benghazi Medical Center after the explosion, not verifying if there were UNSMIL staffers among them.
However, local media and Reuters have both confirmed that foreign UNSMIL staffers had been targeted by the car bombing.
