Perrone officially announces the end of his tenure as Italian Ambassador to Libya
The Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Perrone has officially announced today the end of his tenure as Italian Ambassador to Libya.
Perrone said in a tweet posted on his official account on twitter, today is the last day for me as Italian Ambassador in Tripoli, it was an extraordinary experience.
He wished on his tweet the success to all Libyan people for seeking peace and thriving to their country, he also thanked his country for granting him the opportunity to work in Libya, in a phase that he described as a decisive.
Perrone finished his tweet by saying ” I am full of confidence that what will coming to Libya will be the best ever”
In the same context, Italy earlier has stated that, the new Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Botchino will arrive in the capital Tripoli at the Beginning of March to start his tasks as Italian Ambassador to Libya.
It is noteworthy that, the Italian Government has appointed Botchino as a new Ambassador to Libya succeeding Giuseppe Perrone who had left the country since last August, after he had made some statements which were disapproved by the Libyan public opinion and many people asked to be changed.
