Bani Walid says committed to reintegrate terror-linked children into society
Unicef Libya’s representative, Ghassan Khalili has welcomed the decision of Bani Walid municipality to rehabilitate and reintegrate children, who are linked to armed groups, into society in the city.
Bani Walid municipality also urged all Libyan counterparts to do the same.
Bani Walid is the third city that has taken this decision so far as part of a national campaign sponsored by Unicef called “Together for the Country,” which was launched in April 2015.
Unicef pledged to support Bani Walid’s decision with the needed technical support and expertise so that the step can live up to the standards of children’s rights.
