Arrests and clashes in northern Tripoli
The coastal road that lies between Allous and Qasir Akhyar districts in northern Tripoli was shut down by protesters from the area.
Eyewitnesses told the media that the cars had to drive away from the road and use other roads to avoid passing by the protests.
According to the media, the Special Deterrence Force of Tripoli arrested thirteen people from the areas of Allous and Qasir Akhyar on Wednesday.
The families and relatives of the arrested people shut the main coastal road demanding release of their sons, the sources added.
Meanwhile, Tripoli is undergoing toughened security measures by the different security departments under the Government of National Government (GNA) to try to stabilise the capital after the clashes of last week in Abu Salim area.
