Argentina fires head of its navy over submarine disappearance
The head of the Argentinian navy has been sacked as a result of the disappearance of a submarine carrying 44 crew members.
Navy Admiral Marcelo Srur’s dismissal comes as demonstrations by the missing crew’s family and friends demanding search operation to go on.
Communication with the submarine, ARA San Juan was lost on November 15, after the vessel reported an electrical problem.
