Al-Mishri and Tunisian FM discuss Tripoli offensive’s impact on the region
The Head of the Libyan High Council of State (HCS) Khalid Al-Mishri held a phone call conversation with the Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui on Saturday.
Al-Mishri congratulated the Foreign Minister on Tunisia’s non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council and discussed with him the current developments in Libya.
Al-Mishri and Jhinaoui also discussed the ongoing fighting in Tripoli and other areas outside its southern parts as Khalifa Haftar’s forces keep attacking the capital for political gains.
Over 650 people have been killed and over 3000 injured as well as over 100.000 others have been displaced from their houses since Haftar’s offensive on Tripoli has started.
