During the meeting, al-Koni emphasised the importance of the apparatus and its efforts to maintain security and stability in Tripoli, the capital, and other areas where it operates. He urged officials to intensify their efforts.

He also praised the apparatus’ effectiveness and professionalism in combating crime and curbing illegal immigration, noting its role in training security personnel.

Apparatus officials described its work, highlighting achievements in 2024 and plans to train personnel in cooperation with security services and the Academy of Graduate Studies. They aim to modernise training methods in line with international standards.

Officials said that Mr al-Koni’s visit boosted morale and would encourage members to enhance performance and contribute to security and stability.

Al-Koni also inspected training units, classrooms and a training ground, commending the efforts to improve the efficiency of the apparatus‘s members.
