Al-Koni airlifted from Libya to Germany for treatment
Member of the Presidential Council (PC), Musa Al-Koni, has been transferred to Germany after suffering a heart attack during the past few days.
Al-Koni was airlifted from Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli via the air ambulance service on Friday evening, according to press reports.
The PC member underwent a cardiac catheterization operation in a local clinic on Thursday evening.
A source close to the Presidential Council said that the health condition of Al-Koni is stable and that he is gradually recovering, denying all rumors about the deterioration of his health state.
Al-Koni experienced a critical health issue on Thursday evening after his return from Tunisia, where he was participating in the border cooperation conference between Libya and the Sahel countries.
