Al-Ghusri: All Libyan displaced communities must return at the same time
The spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous operation Mohamed Al-Ghusri told Libyan News Sunday that Libyan displaced communities’ return must all come in one package, commenting on the return of Tawergha IDPs.
Al-Ghusri explained that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous personnel are securing Sirte and its suburbs so that the Tawergha IDPs can return safe to their city, adding that such a step must be organized so that no arms or ISIS militants can infiltrate and sneak into the city alongside the displaced families.
“The Interior Ministry’s decision to form a Tawergha security department is wrong as the city is considered a municipal part of the bigger municipality of Misurata.” Al-Ghusri added.
He also said that the House of Representatives’ member Jaballah Al-Shibani worsened the situation with his recent statement against February revolution, which could mean to some Misuratans that Tawerghans had not let go with their enmity towards them.
“The Presidential Council is to blame for the confusion that ensued in the issues of the return of Tawergha IDPs as the agreement was not really implemented and as it made quick the date of the return before things were put in place.” Al-Ghusri explained to the Libyan News.
