Al-Ahli Tripoli brings Libya Football Cup home
Al-Ahli Tripoli has won the Libya Football Cup for the sixth time in its history after beating Al-Hilal 1-0 in the final match at Misurata stadium.
Mohammed Al-Ghanudi scored for Al-Ahli before the end of the first half of the match.
Al-Ahli will therefore represent Libya at the upcoming CAF Champions League, while Al-Hilal will play at the CAF Confederation Cup.
Many supporters and fans of Al-Ahli Tripoli gathered Friday night around the club’s building in the capital and celebrated the victory with the players.
