Special Deterrence Force apprehends an ISIS sleeper cell in Abu Saleem, Tripoli
The Tripoli-based Special Deterrence Force (SDF) has apprehended a sleeper cell affiliated with ISIS in Abu Saleem, Tripoli.
The SDF explained on its Facebook page that one of the ISIS terrorist sleeper cell was a Tunisian national, who is specialized in explosive devices and car bombs.
It also announced that the Tunisian ISIS militant was planning to carry explosive attacks on some checkpoints in Tripoli to destabilize it and obstruct the political track.
