Libyan News
Ahmed Meiteg, the proposed Deputy Prime Minister for the Government of National Accord, said during a phone interview with ‘Libyan News’ that the newly formed government is trying to avoid unwanted tensions with the two rival governments. Meiteg added that the Government of National Accord is made of representatives from both sides to the conflict, therefore, allegations of being rival entity are false.
“We hope that the complete formation of the government and its official recognition by Tobruk-based parliament will be done before January 17,” Meiteg added.
