France is ready to reopen embassy in Tripoli to support GNA

The former French Foreign Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault, said his country is considering to reopen its embassy and send in its diplomatic attache to Tripoli in support for the UN-backed Government of National Accord.
In a meeting with the German Foreign Minister in Tunisia, Ayrault said that France is working on the reopening of the embassy and will do so once it guarantees the security situation in the Libyan capital.
“This step would be a strong gesture by the French government to show that e won’t succumb to the terrorists’ endeavors and criminal acts.” He added.
