UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, arrives in Tripoli
The United Nations delegate to Libya and Head of the UNSMIL, Martin Kobler, has arrived in Tripoli Mitiga Airport in bid to meet with the newly installed Presidential Council members.
Kobler arrived Tuesday morning in Tripoli after months of failed trials to come to the capital as he was denied such an access by the Salvation Government of the General National Congress, according to Kobler’s tweets.
the UN delegate is expected to meet with Fayez Al-Serraj, the Head of the Presidential Council and others in an attempt to provide more support for making the unity government reach the required support by all Libyan parties.
