Erdogan’s delegate to Tripoli meets rival GNC and GNA officials
The delegate of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Emrullah İşler, has arrived in Tripoli earlier Monday and met with Fayez Al-Serraj the Head of the Presidential Council and Nuri Abusahmain, the Speaker of the General National Congress.
In a press statement after his meetings, Emrullah İşler, said that Turkey supports the political solution for the Libyan crisis that gathers all Libyans together.
“I met with Nuri Abusahmain, the GNC’s Speaker and Fayez Al-Serraj, the PC’s Head as well as I visited Libya’s Fatwa House. Therefore, I listened to all of them and their ideas about how to get Libya out of the current complexities.
He also pointed out that imposing a visa on Libyan nationals who wish to travel to Turkey is part of Turkey’s security measures on a number of countries, saying that it could be cancelled once Libya’s stability is restored.
