Sabratha revolutionary brigades announce full support for GNA
The Sabratha revolutionary brigades have announced, along with the neighbouring areas, full support for the Government of National Accord, calling for an end of the current split up in Libya.
The Sabratha Military Council spokesman, Muhammad Shwaya, said Monday that the city’s revolutionaries issued Sunday a statement confirming their back up for the GNA provided that it remains committed to the Skhirat agreement items and starts working from Tripoli.
“We support the making of national army and the police department and reaffirm that we will work in line with those bodies in fighting terrorism.” The statement explained.
Shwaya added that everyone must be reasonable at this time and said that the Sabratha revolutionary brigades and military council will not be responsible for any fight our bloodshed that comes due to the inflexibility of the political stakeholders.
