Al-Ahli moves to the next CAF Champions League round
Al-Ahli sports club, based in Tripoli, has moved to the third round of the CAF Champions League despite losing 1-2 against the Sudanese sports club, Al-Hilal in the second leg match of the second round at Khartoum stadium.
Worth mentioning that Al-Ahli had won 1-0 in the first leg match in Tunisia before losing the Sunday match, and yet managed to qualify.
On the other hand, Al-Itihad lost its chances at the CAF Confederation Cup by losing the game to Mediama in Ghana 0-1, and therefore it left the competition.
