Huawei continues to support Libyan talents
Huawei attend ECITS in Tripoli
According to Huawei Technologies’ press release sent to Libyan Express, Huawei Technologies was honored to participate in the first Libyan Exhibition for the Export of Communications and Information Technology Services (ECITS).
In collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Labour, the event was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
The exhibition showcases Libya’s latest ICT innovations and capabilities, the exhibition facilitates international exports and imports of Libyan goods and services.
At the opening of the exhibition, high-level guests and visitors praised Huawei’s efforts and role in social responsibility.
As stated in the press release,Huawei provided a comprehensive explanation of its history, its products, solutions for a variety of industries, as well as its corporate social responsibility and talent development initiatives.
Huawei General Manager Liwenliang expressed his satisfaction with participating in the exhibition. Liwenliang explained Huawei’s role in social responsibility, and expressed the hope of continued cooperation with Ministry of Labour, emphasizing Huawei’s commitment to social responsibility and supporting local ICT talent.
Director of the Human Resources Development Fund, Fayez Abu Omran, who visited the “Huawei” pavilion and met with Liwenliang, praised Huawei’s commitment to playing its part in social responsibility and supporting talent development inside Libya.
Huawei supports the Ministry of Labour’s Human Resources Development Fund through its various programs as part of its commitment to social responsibility and developing local talent in information technology and digital transformation.
Huawei continues to support the communities in which it operates and contributes to their wellbeing.
Since 2021, Huawei has been developing and implementing ICT Academy programs and Seeds for the Future projects in Libya, and has signed co-operation agreements with nine universities.
