Italy is in favour of all Libyan political parties agreeing to hold elections
Italy’s ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, reaffirmed, on Saturday, his country’s desire that all political parties in Libya reach agreement and maintain security and stability, in order to achieve national elections, based on sound constitutional basis.
He stressed that stability of Libya is fundamental and important for the stability of the Mediterranean region.

The meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli, touched on the latest developments to prepare for the international conference to be held in the German capital, Berlin, this September, in the presence of the United States, Russia, China, Germany, France and Britain, according to the office.
