Port of Derna could help ease of cargo ships in Libya
The Libyan Ports Company announced the readiness of Derna port to receive any ships or tankers, after the removal of all legal obstacles and the lifting of the ban on it.
In an effort to activate the port, the Libyan Ports Company has reduced handling and storage charges for incoming and outgoing goods by 25 percent for all suppliers and exporters.
It will be recalled that a military ban had been imposed on the port by forces led by Khalifa Hafter during his war against extremists in the city.
