UN Security Council to discuss developments in Libya on May 26 Meet
UN Security Council’s Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs said there will be a session on developments in different countries including Libya on May 26.
Libyan News Agency said the Security Council will discuss protection of civilians in conflicts and food security in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Lebanon, Ukraine and Middle East.
Recently, the Security Council said it was concerned the most about instability in Libya and the return to civil war, outlining other concerns about the flow of weapons, fighters and migrants to Europe, as well as how the country can benefit from its oil wealth in a fair manner.
