Huawei Libya showcases a good ICT Ecosystems at Taqnya 2021
Taqnya 2021 ICT exhibition, one of the biggest ICT events in Libya, is held from 9 to 12 November 2021 in Tripoli International Fairgrounds with the participation of Huawei Libya as one the most important players in the Libyan ICT sector.
The event was marked by the presence of Libya’s Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dabaiba, who was present during the opening ceremony and toured some representative stands to learn about the latest ICT technology and development trends.
During his tour, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Jack Li, Huawei Libya General Manager in the stand of Huawei. Mr. Jack Li has presented Huawei Libya history for serving Libyan people from the beginning of 2000, Huawei cooperation with telecom operators for infrastructure construction and Huawei investment in Libyan ICT talents by launching Seeds for the Future and ICT Academy programs. In the same time, Jack Li has also mentioned that Huawei Libya has been partnering with around 50 local channel partners for a good ICT ecosystem.
The Prime Minister has mentioned his appreciation to Huawei efforts and contributions in Libya for ICT infrastructure and ICT talent cultivation. He has also expressed his thanks to Huawei for always being in Libya even during the difficult times caused by Covid-19 and other circumstances. In the end of the tour, Mr. Prime Minister encouraged Huawei to continue the support of digital transformation and social contribution, and help Libya to develop more ICT talents in the future with all local partners.
During the visit, the Prime Minister has expressed his appreciation for Huawei’s long term contribution in Libya by supporting Libya’s digital economy and promoting good cooperation with local partners.
