Al-Mangoush emphasizes the need to encourage young people to engage in political groups
Libya's Minister of Foreign Affairs asserts the need to include young people of both genders in diplomatic and foreign work
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush, met with the Minister for Youth, Fethullah Al-Zani, at the Ministry’s offices in Tripoli.
The mechanism for implementing Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Decision No. 210 of 2021 on the establishment of a governmental committee to liaise with the regional and international organizations of which Libya is a full member was discussed at the meeting in order to identify and address the Libyan State’s obligations towards these organizations.
The Minister emphasized the importance of promoting the participation of Libyan youth of both genders and on an equal footing among citizens in these political and specialized organizations in the context of developing young diplomatic abilities and encouraging them to participate worldwide in conformance with the Government’s national obligations, through an improving work approach.
The meeting also discussed partnerships between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Youth to ensure that young people, particularly young diplomats and youth diplomats, receive adequate attention in order to improve their potentials and expertise, as well as to develop international communication abilities for young people, through joint coordination mechanisms between the Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Youth.
