Following the controversial and highly publicized death of a young player as a result of preventable Malaria infection, Libya's AG has ordered the arrest of the President of the country's Minifootball Association
Following an inquiry, the Attorney-General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour has issued an order to imprison Hussein Tawilb, the head of the Libyan Minifootball Association, over the death of a young player after he contracted Malaria in Algeria as a result of the Federation’s negligence.
According to sources, the initial investigation found the Association’s negligence and disregard to be the lead cause of the player’s death, adding that medical precautions had not been taken prior to the team’s trip to participate in the Africa Championship in Nigeria, resulting in malaria among the players and ultimately the death of one.

People have turned to social media to vent their anger and outrage at the Association’s administration’s carelessness, which resulted in the boy’s death.
