ACA opens an investigation into the delay of the second dose of Sputnik V
The Administrative Control Authority brings attention to the continued delay in the delivery of the second dose of Sputnik V vaccine
The appointed panel uncovered violations in various centres devoted to the isolation of Covid-19 patients in a statement sent to GNU Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
The ACA urged the Prime Minister to take prompt measures to combat the epidemic and accept responsibility for keeping all Libyans safe.
The Sputnik V vaccine, Russia’s response to Covid-19, comes in two doses, and although many Libyans have gotten their first dosage, most have yet to get their second, despite months having elapsed since the first shipment was sent.
The situation in Libya with Covid-19 continues to deteriorate, with the Ministry of Health urging the government to declare a state of national emergency in order to limit the virus’s spread in its various variants.
