CBL official reveals that the children’s grant will be distributed this week
After the GNU allocated 1 billion dinars to the children's grant, the CBL will begin distributing the funds to citizens accounts this week
According to Al-Mesbah Al-Akari, a member of the Joint Technical Committee of the two branches of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), the Central Office would transfer the children’s grant to citizens’ accounts this week for the second quarter of the current year.
During a weekend press conference, Minister of Social Affairs Wafa Al- Kilani announced that the Ministry has finished the process for payment of the children’s grant.
In his official remarks, Al-Akari also said that the CBL will transfer the wages of struggling businesses for six months without revealing their entire worth.
The Government of National Unity authorized 1 billion dinars two weeks ago to fund the continuation of the grant for children under the age of 18.
