A fuel shipment brings an end to the crisis in Wadi Abu-Neas
After prolonged and painful fuel shortage, a shipment of over 50,000 liters arrived in Wadi Abu-Neas to help with the suffering of citizens in the region
Following months-long hiatus, a cargo of gasoline arrived at around 50,000 litres of fuel in the municipality of Wadi Abu-Neas, where it was unloaded and given to locals from the Zigan station.
Members of the Abu-Neas Security Directorate and the Municipal Guard Office ensured the shipment’s arrival. The cargo was made possible by the Municipal Council, the Southern Municipal Councils, and the Government of National Unity, led by engineer Ramadan Aboujnah and the Deputy Prime Minister, in collaboration with the Al-Brega oil marketing company and a number of state bodies.
Residents and officials in Abu-Neas urged the competent authorities and inhabitants to work together to maintain normal gasoline flow to the area to aid in alleviating the suffering of citizens in the southern region, which has been hit hard by a severe lack of fuel and devastating black market prices.
