NOC head confirms the continued effort to supply fuel to the South of Libya
Mustafa Sunallah, the chairman of Libya's National Oil Corporation confirmed that efforts to supply the southern region of the country with sufficient fuel would continue despite the illegal attempts to stop them
Mustafa Sunallah, head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), emphasized the continued supply of fuel to the South’s districts, emphasizing the importance of security to secure the safety of truck drivers.
Sunallah noted in a speech delivered during his visit to Sabha alongside the Deputy Head of Government and the Minister of the Interior, as well as the Chairman of the Management Committee of Al-Brega’s oil marketing company, that all previous efforts had been thwarted by fuel smugglers, who benefited from the lack of access to the South.
The NOC chairman stated that fuel convoys will continue to arrive until the crisis was resolved, stressing that a project was underway to deploy gas cylinders in order to cut transportation costs and meet the South’s immediate gas needs.
