One million Egyptian workers arrive in Libya in the coming period

Al-Bedoui explained in a press statement that the number of workers will gradually increase to around 3 million, adding that construction and reconstruction are two of the most critical areas for rebuilding Libya following the war, which will also help Egypt’s unemployment rate decrease.

In a similar manner, the Organization for Justice and Development for Middle East and North Africa Studies has unveiled an Egyptian comprehensive plan for Libya reconstruction, following Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al- Sisi’s directive to develop a comprehensive plan for Libya reconstruction.

According to a statement obtained by Ean Libya, restoring Egypt’s influence and regional role in the Middle East in order to stabilize the region’s various countries would benefit the Libyan crisis.

Egypt was preparing an integrated and comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of Libya, including the repatriation of Egyptian labor and the contribution of Egyptian companies to reconstruction following the December elections in Libya.

The organization demonstrated that the United States supports Egyptian contributions to Libya’s reconstruction, the resolution of the Libyan crisis, and Egyptian-Libyan reconstruction projects that benefit all parties.

According to the statement, the US agreed with Egypt’s vision for Libya’s stability, reconstruction of the Libyan state, and refusal to allow regional interventions in the Libyan crisis to achieve comprehensive stability in Libya.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden discussed the latest developments in Libya yesterday during a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

The Egyptian presidency’s spokesman stated in a statement that Biden and Al-Sisi agreed during their phone call “on the critical nature of working to restore the Libyan State’s balance and stability and to preserve its national institutions in order to achieve electoral eligibility by the end of this year.”
