The Italian Defense Minister, Roberta Binotti, said Sunday in a televised interview with an Italian channel, that the US, Britain, and France will not lead a military action alone in Libya, but they will be coordinating with Italy.

Defense Minister Binotti explained that Italy will be given the leadership of the military intervention in Libya after the other participating countries provide it with intelligence information from the ground.

“The military action will first target the oil facilities guards, especially in the Italian Eni Oil Company facility.” Said the Italian minister, which shows how Italy is considering intervention in Libya to protect its own interests, analysts say.
