Erdogan, Putin reiterate need for ceasefire in Libya’s capital

Erdogan and Putin exchanged views on the crisis in Libya where Khalifa Haftar, who commands forces loyal to Libya’s eastern Parliament, launched a campaign to capture Tripoli from the UN-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) in early April.
Erdogan and Putin also called for a ceasefire in Libya and renewal of a political process under the auspices of the United Nations, the Kremlin said in a statement.
