Libyan Elders and Notables visit Misrata prisons

A delegation of Libyan Reconciliation Elders Council has paid a visit to Misrata prisons Wednesday to solidify the national reconciliation and check on the prisoners’ conditions and their needs.

The Council’s head, Mohammed Al-Basheer, told Ajwa Net that the conditions of the prisoners are very good.

Meanwhile, Misrata Municipality formed a committee to follow up the daily needs of the prisoners in July 2015, said the committee’s head, Mohammed Issa.

In relation, the Reconciliation Elders Council had visited other prisons before in Zintan, Al-Zawiya, and Tripoli, in an attempt to keep the prisoners’ needs addressed.
