Libya’s oil output falls by 150.000 bpd, NOC says
The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) said Friday that operations at four oil terminals in the country had been temporarily halted due to bad weather conditions.
“Ras Lanuf, Zueitina, Zawiya and Es Sider terminals have all been temporarily shut due to persistent bad weather,” the NOC said in a statement.
The NOC also indicated that oil production had already fallen by 150,000 barrels per day (bpd) and is likely to fall an additional 50,000 bpd due to a lack of storage capacity.
On Thursday, Libya’s official meteorological agency warned of strong northwesterly winds along the country’s west coast and waves reaching as high as four meters.
