Survey: 79% of Libyans prefer having constitution before going to elections

An online survey for a week posted by news operator Ean Libya showed that 79% of the voters prefer to have a constitution referendum before having to hold elections in the country.

The voters of the constitution option (79%) won over those who wanted to go immediately to elections (21%) saying thy think elections can end political conflicts and that having a constitution of consensus across Libya takes a long time.

Libyan rivals agreed more than once and recently in Paris on May 29, 2018, to go for elections by the end of 2018, with many voices expressing concern that elections without a constitution would be too soon for the country.
