Libyan footballer El-Munir signs for MLS Orlando City
Libyan footballer, Mohamed El-Munir, has signed for the Major League Soccer of the USA and will be playing for Orlando City.
El-Munir is going to to become the first Libyan to play at the Major League Soccer in the USA.
According to the BBC, the 25-year-old left back will join Orlando City from the Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.
Besides playing in Serbia, El-Munir had a stint with Dinamo Minsk in the Belarusian Premier League after beginning his career in Libya with Al-Ittihad Tripoli.
El-Munir has so far played about 15 times for the Libyan national football team, including in the 2014 and 2018 World Cup qualifying campaigns and has scored three goals.
