Tawerghans demand Al-Sirraj do something to facilitate their return home
The Head of the Government National Accord (GNA) Faiz Al-Saraj met dozens of internally displaced families and citizens from the city of Tawergha, who were protesting in front of the GNA’s headquarter in Tripoli.
The protesters demanded a solution to the poor life conditions they are in and an immediate solution that allows a quick and safe return to their city.
Al-Saraj said “we feel pain when we talk about the situation of our Tawerghan people suffering for 7 years” adding that talks about expediting their return have been held ” in accordance with the agreement signed between the cities of Tawergha and Misrata”.
