10 people arrested in Malta in connection of journalist’s assassination
The Maltese prime minister, Joseph Muscat said in a press conference on Tuesday, that 10 people were arrested in connection with the car bomb murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Muscat told reporters that Maltese police apprehended 10 Maltese nationals in operations in the town of Marsa, and the Bugibba and Zebbug areas.
Caruana Galizia was assassinated near house on 16 October in an attack that sent shock waves through out the country and the world.
She was known for accusing top politicians of corruption.
