Unidentified air raids leave women, children dead in Libya’s besieged city, Derna

Six air raids on Al-Fatayeh district in the besieged city of Derna in eastern Libya have left five women and seven children killed, as well as 25 others injured, local sources reported.
The sources added that the airstrikes took the families by surprise and many of the civilians whose houses were targeted were stuck under the rubble due to the unidentified warplanes’ bombing.
It is unclear up until now who is the source of the airstrikes, but the city has been for long time besieged by the forces of Operation Dignity led by Khalifa Haftar, who ordered choking the life out of the city.
