Saudi Arabia detains two Libyan military commanders performing Umrah in Mecca

Qatar’s government has welcomed an announcement from Saudi Arabia that its people will be allowed to cross the border for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

The decision comes in the middle of a land, air, and sea blockade by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf and Arab as well as foreign countries cut ties with Qatar over accusations that Qatar is funding terrorism.
