Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous military delegation from Libya arrives in Qatar
A delegation from the military operation that ousted IS militants from Sirte in central Libya, Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous, arrived in Qatar earlier on Sunday in an official talks visit, according to sources close to the operation’s command.
The delegation includes the Commander of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous, Bashir Al-Qai, and the spokesman of the operation, Mohammed Al-Ghusri, besides others, the sources said.
No further details were given on the visit or on what the discussion will include in Doha.
Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous rooted out IS terrorists from Sirte in December 2016 after over 6 months of a military campaign with an air cover by the US AFRICOM Command.
