Al-Ettihad beats Al-Ahli 2-0 in Tripoli’s derby
Al-Ettihad has scored twice to beat its rival in the Libyan capital’s derby and end its matches in 2016 League.
Despite the 2-0 loss, Al-Ahli has made it to the five-team final round of the Libyan league, which will continue over the next month.
During the last couple of weeks, hustle and bustle was all over the capital as Al-Ettihad was rejecting the idea of having local referees in the game and wanted foreign ones, however, the Libyan Football Federation couldn’t fulfill that request and assigned Libyan referees for the Thursday match.
