Woman killed, six injured in random shelling on Tawergha refugee camp in Tripoli
Random rockets were fired Sunday evening on a Tawergha refugee camp in Al-Fallah, Tripoli, killing a woman and injuring six people.
The Mayor of Tawergha, Abdelrahman Al-Shikshak, said the refugee camp is now in a state of quietitude after the shelling and clashes between armed groups in the vicinity of the camp in Tripoli’s Al-Fallah district.
“We don’t know who were the clashing groups, and we have sent the injured to a Tripoli hospital.” Tawergha mayor said.
He added that he appealed to the officials in Tripoli to keep the Tawergha people out of the current armed clashes.
It is worth mentioning that among the injuries there are three children.
