Libyan and British Civil Aviation Authorities to cooperate in safety measures program
The Minister of Transport at the Government of National Accord (GNA) Milad Matoug, said there will be cooperation between the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority and the British counterpart.
Matoug said the c cooperation will be in technical issues at the safety measures.
The cooperation is going to take effect from the date of the signing of the agreement between the Libyan and the British Civil Aviation Authorities to the date of the next EU Safety Committee meeting on June 06, 2017, when the committee is going to check the Libyan Transport Ministry’s report, Matoug added.
In a joint presser with the UK Ambassador to Libya, Peter Millett, Matoug said Wednesday that a specialized committee from the ministry will visit the UK to review the Libyan Embassy’s work and the educational academy as well.
He added that the committee is trying to solve the problems facing the Libyan students in securing flights to and from the UK and those who stopped studying due to visa issues.
